Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about sourcing packaging equipment with SPS.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept T/T (bank wire transfer), L/C, and PayPal for sample orders. For orders over $10,000, we typically recommend30% deposit, 70% before shipment.
What are the typical lead times?
Standard machines: 15-30 days production. Custom configurations: 30-45 days. Shipping adds20-45 days depending on the port and shipping method (sea freight vs air freight).
How do you handle shipping from China?
We work with established freight forwarders who specialize in machinery. We can arrange FOB, CIF, or DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping. Most customers prefer CIF to their nearest port.
What if the machine arrives damaged?
All shipments are covered by marine insurance. We document the condition of the machine before loading with photos and video. Any damage claims are filed with the insurance company.
Do I need a visa to visit the factory in China?
Yes, most nationalities need a business visa (M visa). We can provide an invitation letter to support your visa application. Many clients also combine factory visits with Canton Fair (Guangzhou, April/May and October).
Can you help with customs clearance?
Yes. For DDP shipments, we handle customs clearance in the destination country. We can also provide all necessary documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, Bill of Lading) for your customs broker.
How do I know if the supplier is reliable?
All SPS suppliers undergo a vetting process: factory audit, export history verification, and reference checks. We visit factories in person during our quarterly trips to Foshan, China.
What after-sales support do you provide?
Remote technical support via WhatsApp, email, and video call included with every machine. Spare parts can be shipped within 3-5 days. We can coordinate on-site visits for complex installations.
